Job Description

Our PMO Scotland team is expanding its Controls community. We seek passionate and ambitious candidates across all professional, senior professional, and managerial grades who will support early careers, grow into leadership roles, and bring expertise to our communities of practice, emphasizing Bringing out the best in Everyone.

With regional growth including new Major Programmes, Projects, and Clients, we are looking for flexible, mobile Planning and Scheduling, Performance Reporting, and Risk Management candidates to deliver services locally. Travel within Scotland may be required depending on the project. You will have the opportunity to work across sectors such as Power, Water, Rail, Defence, Nuclear, Local Authority, and Shipyards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Tailoring reporting processes to meet client needs and align with best practices.
  • Delivering performance and reporting management plans based on project requirements.
  • Promoting the benefits of Performance Reporting & Analytics within project teams.
  • Implementing and maintaining reporting systems to track project controls performance.
  • Working with project teams to establish a robust Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
  • Rolling out reporting calendars for consistent data delivery and analysis.
  • Collaborating with project controls to define data requirements and support digital teams.
  • Leading development and maintenance of corporate datasets.
  • Providing guidance on data quality issues.
  • Preparing governance materials for projects, programs, and portfolios.
  • Identifying performance recovery recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Supporting the development of KPIs and performance measures.
  • Developing reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Leading presentations for governance forums and reviews.
  • Contributing to regional communities of practice.
  • Training and coaching team members and clients on performance management processes.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a project or program environment is essential.
  • Understanding of how other Project Controls aspects interact with Reporting.
  • Proven ability to identify and document reporting and data requirements.
  • Knowledge of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys, etc.) is desirable.
  • Experience with data analysis tools like Power BI.
  • Understanding of data architecture and data models.
