Job Description
Our PMO Scotland team seeks to expand its Controls community, welcoming passionate candidates across all professional, senior, and managerial grades. You will support early careers, grow into leadership roles, and contribute to our communities of practice, emphasizing our value of 'Bringing out the best in Everyone.'

With growth in major programmes, projects, and clients, we seek flexible, mobile Planning, Scheduling, Performance Reporting, and Risk Management professionals to serve our Scottish region. Travel within Scotland is expected and can be discussed during recruitment. You will work across sectors including Power, Water, Rail, Defence, Nuclear, Local Authority, and Shipyards.

Responsibilities
  • Tailor reporting processes to meet client needs and align with best practices.
  • Deliver performance and reporting management plans based on project requirements.
  • Promote the benefits of Performance Reporting & Analytics within project teams.
  • Implement and maintain reporting systems to track project controls performance.
  • Establish robust Performance Measurement Baselines and support change control.
  • Ensure consistent reporting calendars for timely data analysis.
  • Define requirements and data flows for information management systems.
  • Develop and maintain corporate datasets; advise on data quality issues.
  • Prepare governance materials for projects, programmes, and portfolios.
  • Identify performance recovery options for stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing KPIs and performance measures dictionaries.
  • Create project performance reports and dashboards with actionable insights.
  • Lead presentations for governance forums and reviews.
  • Contribute to communities of practice in performance & reporting.
  • Train and mentor clients and team members in reporting processes.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a project or programme environment is essential.
  • Understanding of how other Project Controls aspects interact with Reporting.
  • Proven ability to identify and document reporting and data requirements.
  • Knowledge of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Risk Manager, Ecosys) is desirable.
  • Experience with data analysis tools like Power BI.
  • Understanding of data architecture and models.
