Job summary

HS2 Ltd seeks a Programme Performance Manager to deliver performance insights and manage programme-wide performance data. You will work with the HoPP to identify optimisation opportunities and mitigate risks, shaping decisions on drawdown and delivery timing.

The role emphasizes data specification, interpretation, and collaboration across delivery teams, PMO, and controls functions to improve programme outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior project management or controls roles within an infrastructure delivery environment.
• Experience leading teams or initiatives and ready to take on greater responsibility and exposure.
• Experience working in or with project controls functions.
• Experience supporting change events within a project environment.
• Experienced in the use of Microsoft applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) or equivalent.
• Experience participating within governance meetings with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assure and integrate programme wide performance insights.
• Coordinate and manage mission level risks; provide analysis for drawdown of phase contingency.
• Develop intelligence to support performance management and integration.
• Analyse and correlate performance against baselines to enable challenge and optimisation.
• Lead assurance, prioritisation and profiling in annual Performance Measurement Plan.
• Analyse risks and opportunities to mitigate and optimise Delivery into Service dates.
• Define and manage inputs from delivery teams, PMO and controls resources.
• Conduct horizon scanning and right-to-left planning for strategic risks and opportunities.
• Raise recommendations on active risk management.
• Promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all work.
