Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Programme Officer for a temporary five-week assignment in Higher Education administration. The role offers 35 hours per week at £19 per hour, starting soon.

You will support teaching activities and act as first point of contact for students and staff. Responsibilities include managing student lifecycle processes, handling inquiries, assisting with assessments, and contributing to quality assurance.

Programme Officer
Position Details
  • Contract Type: Temporary.
  • Contract Length: 5 weeks Monday - Friday 35 hours per week
  • Hourly rate: £19.00
Role Overview

As the Programme Officer, the successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for students and academic staff, providing comprehensive support for teaching and teaching-related activities. This role is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart or advance their career in Higher Education administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality support for student lifecycle processes, from pre-enrolment to graduation and beyond.
  • Handle student and academic inquiries face-to-face, via phone, and electronically, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Assist in student assessment processes, adhering to university deadlines and regulations.
  • Support quality assurance and accreditation requirements for relevant programmes.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of programmes and processes based on user feedback.
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes equality and diversity.
