Job summary

Hull City Council is seeking an experienced Senior Transformation Officer to lead and support programmes delivering organisational change and digital transformation. The role focuses on embedding change across people, processes and technology with strong stakeholder engagement.

The post operates within a Corporate Transformation Team in a hybrid model across multiple sites and remote work, with potential to extend beyond the fixed term depending on demand and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading change programmes and projects in large organisations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Knowledge of recognised programme management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support delivery of change programmes to achieve identified benefits.
• Identify synergies, avoid duplication, and ensure alignment with corporate plans.
• Ensure resources are planned, assigned and monitored to deliver outputs on time.
• Guide senior managers to shape and deliver change and transformation.
• Monitor risks, issues and benefits; escalate as needed and embed changes.
