Job summary

Atrium Associates Ltd is recruiting a Professional Services Engineer to deliver IT migrations, infrastructure refreshes, and cloud projects from Central London. The role combines on-site client work (3 days per week) with hybrid remote work for a balanced schedule.

You will implement Azure IaaS, Entra ID/AD, Intune, and migration initiatives, partnering with PMs and architects to ensure successful outcomes. Excellent communication and customer-focused delivery are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IT migrations and infrastructure refresh projects for SMEs.
• Deploy and configure servers, networks, firewalls, and core IT infrastructure.
• Lead Microsoft 365 projects including Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, and cloud migrations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
• Provide detailed project handovers to Service Desk teams.

Location: Central London (3 days per week onsite at a client site, 2 days remote)

We are looking for a Professional Services Engineer to join a high-performing Professional Services team. You will play a key role in delivering infrastructure, cloud, and migration projects for customers, ensuring exceptional outcomes and a seamless experience from start to finish.

This role will involve working onsite three days per week at a customer location in Central London, alongside hybrid working arrangements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering IT system migrations and infrastructure refresh projects for SME organisations.
• Deploying and configuring servers, networks, firewalls, and core IT infrastructure.
• Delivering Microsoft 365 projects, including Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, and cloud migrations.
• Working closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborating with Solutions Consultants and Technical Architects to design and implement customer solutions.
• Providing detailed project handovers to Service Desk teams.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintaining accurate project records and documentation.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an experienced technical professional with a proven background in IT project delivery and customer-facing environments.

Essential Technical Experience

• Hands-on experience delivering IT infrastructure and migration projects.
• Microsoft Azure IaaS administration, provisioning, networking, and storage.
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory Domain Services.
• Microsoft Intune deployment and management (MDM/MAM).
• VMware and Microsoft Hyper‑V virtualisation technologies.
• Microsoft Windows Server administration, including ADDS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, NPS, and DFS.
• Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange migrations.
• SharePoint Online deployment and migration projects.
• Strong networking knowledge, including firewalls, switching, LAN and multi‑VLAN environments.
• Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery solutions such as Datto, Veeam, StorageCraft, or Altaro.
• End‑user device deployments, including Windows, Apple, and Android devices.
• Experience supporting both cloud and on‑premises infrastructure environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
