Job summary

Context Recruitment is seeking an IT Project Delivery Engineer to join our client in Wolverhampton on an onsite basis. The role spans from solution design and pre-sales consultancy through to project delivery, implementation and ongoing technical support.

You will lead infrastructure and cloud projects, act as a senior escalation point for the Service Desk, and work closely with clients to design and deliver Microsoft 365, Azure and on-premises server solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, infrastructure, professional services or managed services.
• Strong experience of Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Experience delivering projects within Windows environments.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking and cloud technologies.
• Experience acting as escalation point for technical issues.
• Experience working with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Our client, a growing and highly successful Managed Services Provider, is seeking an experienced IT Project Delivery Engineer to join their team in Wolverhampton.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically capable and customer-focused professional who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle, from solution design and pre-sales consultancy through to project delivery, implementation and ongoing technical support.

The role offers a unique blend of technical leadership, project management and client engagement. You will act as a senior escalation point for the Service Desk whilst leading infrastructure and cloud projects for a diverse customer base. Working closely with clients, you will help design and deliver business-critical technology solutions across Microsoft cloud and on-premises environments.

Required Skills & Experience

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have previous experience working within an IT support, infrastructure, professional services or managed services environment.

• Previous experience acting as an escalation point for technical issues.
