We’re looking for a Professional Services Engineer (4th Line) to join our Technical Services team in Sheffield. This is a senior technical role covering solution design, project delivery and major incident management, for both our clients and our own internal systems.
You’ll be a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues, and the senior escalation point for complex technical issues. You’ll also mentor and coach engineers across the business.
As a Professional Services Engineer (4th Line), you’ll work directly with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements and risks. That includes deploying, configuring and migrating Microsoft365, Azure, hybrid cloud, network, security, server and storage platforms, plus infrastructure upgrades and system replacements. You’ll deliver on time and within scope, with clear implementation documentation and handover materials.

You’ll coordinate the technical response, carry out root cause analysis and put preventative measures in place. You’ll keep clients, management and colleagues updated throughout.
You’ll also support the design and improvement of our internal IT infrastructure, security initiatives, and business continuity and disaster recovery planning. As a senior member of the team, you’ll mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, help set technical standards and support onboarding.
