Job summary

Desford, Leicestershire-based Caterpillar is seeking a Production Team Leader within the Building Construction Products assembly to lead an operations team, ensuring safety, quality and timely customer deliveries.

You will coach, mentor and develop staff, drive lean CI improvements, manage shift coverage and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily targets and continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

• Understanding of assembly operations practices and processes.
• Experience with Manufacturing Quality processes, defect reporting and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to meet goals.
• Self-motivated with adaptability to independent and team work.
• Strong written and verbal communication to uphold company values.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
• Willing to work extra hours and multi-shift patterns.
