Job summary

Wienerberger Ltd at Broomfleet, near Gilberdyke, is seeking a Production Team Leader to guide a small team in a hands-on, safety-focused environment. You will set priorities to maximise production efficiency and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

The role involves leading Lean initiatives, supporting quality control, and training new starters while ensuring safe, efficient operation across a high-volume site.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with a safety-first culture.
• At least 1 year of leadership as Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Experience in high production environments (automotive, food or FMCG).
• Good exposure to health & safety standards and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a small team with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Set priorities to maximise production efficiency and promote continuous improvement.
• Identify and suggest improvements to manufacturing and quality processes for cost-efficient schedules.
• Assist with installation of new plant equipment and promote Lean thinking.
• Carry out factory inspections and support production operatives.
• Monitor quality from raw materials to finished goods.
