Caterpillar in Desford, Leicestershire invites applications for a Logistics Team Leader role. You will lead a production-line logistics team, ensure resources are used efficiently, and uphold the highest safety standards.

This position is full-time with fixed-term contracts running 12 months and a 37.5 hour week. You will mentor staff, manage daily targets, apply CI tools, and participate in safety and quality initiatives across the operation.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 or above in logistics or equivalent.
• Hands-on logistics or production experience.
• Experience using SAP and material systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the team to meet daily goals and monitor safety, quality, and cost metrics.
• Champion safe working practices and provide training.
• Drive continuous improvement using CI, lean and Six Sigma.
• Participate in RIWs for Safety, Quality, Velocity and Cost.
