Job summary

Samworth Brothers in the United Kingdom seeks a proactive team leader to drive engagement in the department, organize rotations, conduct performance and probation reviews within timelines, and coach staff. You will ensure effective delegation and monitor team performance to deliver results.

You will champion health and safety and embody Samworth Brothers’ purpose and values in everyday actions, training, and communications with colleagues across the site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the people in the department or line to become a motivated and engaged team, through the organization of job rotation, conducting performance and probation reviews within the correct timelines, staff training, coaching, appropriate delegation, and regular communication of team performance.
• Proactively take on personal responsibility and accountability to support Line Manager and cover for Line Manager when unavailable.
• Act as a champion for health & safety and live and breathe the Samworth Brothers’ purpose and values.
