Job summary

The Cornwall Bakery, part of Samworth Brothers Ltd, is seeking a proactive Team Leader to motivate and engage the department, organise rotations, and drive performance. You will coach staff, conduct reviews, and ensure timely training and communication of goals.

As a natural forward-looking leader, you will back the Line Manager, promote a safe working environment, and embody the Samworth Brothers values while seeking progression into future management roles.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a department or team to drive engagement and performance.
• Ability to coach, train, and delegate with clear communication of goals.
• Strong commitment to health & safety and company values.

Responsibilities

• Lead department teams, organize job rotation, and conduct performance/probation reviews on schedule.
• Provide coverage and support for Line Manager as needed.
• Champion health and safety, uphold Samworth Brothers values and standards.
