Job summary

A global confectionery company based in Plymouth is seeking a Production Operator. This role requires previous manufacturing experience and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment and collaborating with a shift team. A competitive salary between £32,500 - £35,100 plus performance-related bonuses and benefits including on-site gym and meals are offered.

Responsibilities

• Starting up, shutting down, monitoring, and cleaning equipment.
• Performing basic changeovers, minor repairs, routine checks, and inspections.
• Utilizing basic ancillary equipment and computer programs.
• Collaborate with a shift team of up to 15 associates to achieve targets.
• Be accountable for the performance of several machines and processes.
• Escalate issues appropriately and provide accurate handovers.
• Repair mechanical breakdowns using trained knowledge and experience.

Skills

Production Operator - Mars Wrigley – Plymouth, Mars

Salary: £32,500 - £35,100 (inclusive of shift allowance) dependent on experience. Performance related company bonus. Rotating shifts: Mon-Fri 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm. Permanent. Benefits: hot food restaurant, on-site gym, free on-site parking, employee shop with monthly allowance.
