Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Production Operative in Halstead. You will help prepare fabricated assemblies for final assembly and painting, using hand and power tools to grind, polish, deburr and drill, within an indoor production environment.

We are seeking someone with manufacturing or engineering experience who enjoys practical work and thrives in a collaborative team. The role offers weekly pay and a range of Adecco benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, engineering or fabrication.
• Experience using hand and power tools such as grinders, polishers and drills.
• Ability to follow technical drawings, work instructions and production documentation.
• Good attention to detail when preparing and finishing components.
• Proactive, able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fabricated assemblies for final assembly and painting.
• Use powered hand tools for grinding, polishing, deburring, fettling, drilling and finishing operations.
• Operate steam cleaners and jet washers to clean large, fabricated products in an indoor production environment.
• Read and follow work instructions, technical drawings and job sheets accurately.
• Complete all work to required quality standards and timescales.
