Essential Recruitment in Brassington is seeking a Production Operative for ongoing, day-shift work. You will operate machinery, mind machines, bag products and handle up to 25kg, including forklift duties. Transport is required due to the remote location, with immediate start offered.

Typical hours are 6.30am–5pm or 7am–5.30pm, with a £14.04 hourly rate and potential pay increases with training. Weekly pay and employer support are provided in this long-term role.

Are you local to Brassington and looking for ongoing long term work on a day shift?

A manufacturer of ball clay and talc products, who have been established for 150 years and are based in the Brassington area of Matlock, are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Production Operative to join the team immediately and on an ongoing basis.

In this Production Operative role you will be operating machinery, machine minding, bagging and manual handling products (up to 25kg) and operating a forklift truck.

We would be keen to speak with you if you have experience in a similar Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative or Machine Operator role and a forklift licence.

Due to the remote location you will require your own transport in order to be considered for the role.

Hours of work:

Choose either:

• Monday to Friday, 6.30am - 5pm

or

• Monday to Thursday 7am - 5.30pm / Friday 6.30am - 5pm

Hourly Rate:

• £14.04 per hour
• Opportunities to increase rate of pay with training and upskilling
