Job summary

Gi Group is hiring a Bakery Operative for our large-scale production bakery in Buckinghamshire. You will operate modern machinery and production lines to create breads and bakery products, with duties spanning wrapping, slicing, packaging, baking, weighing ingredients and cleaning stations.

This hands-on role requires a practical approach, the ability to read labels, basic arithmetic, and physical fitness for lifting and moving items. Training is provided; shifts run Sunday to Friday, 2pm–10pm.

• Operating modern machinery and technology throughout the process
• Cleaning machinery and keeping workstations hygienic and tidy

Job description

As a Bakery Operative, you'll be working in a large-scale, state-of-the-art automated plant bakery producing a wide range of breads and bakery products. You'll operate modern machinery and production lines to create large batches that are packaged and distributed to wholesale customers. This is a hands‑on production role within a busy manufacturing environment, with varied duties across the bakery process.

Locations: Iver, Buckinghamshire

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Shifts: Sunday to Friday: 2pm-10pm
