Job description

Genuine Temporary to Permanent opportunities Immediate start available

Acorn by Synergie are currently recruiting for Production Operatives for their client based in Knowsley, L34, who provides quality beef and vegetarian substitutes to thousands of customers across the world.

The company offer excellent working conditions and genuine opportunities for permanent contracts and progression.

Shifts available currently are Monday to Friday

Non rotational, either 5am - 1pm or 1pm - 9pm, although some flexibility is needed on these hours to on occasion cover holidays and sickness.

Rate of pay:

12.63 - 13.33 per hour dependant on hours worked

Enhanced overtime rates are payable after 40 hours worked

All breaks are paid

Duties will include

Mixing, weighing and blending of raw materials

Ensure documentation is completed

Keeping lines supplied with the raw materials they need to operate

Manual handling weights up to 25 kilos

Following SOPs re correct storage of ingredients

Assist in production when required

Assist in hitting daily targets and KPIs

Raise any training issues with HR or the training manager

Maintain a clean as you go area and demonstrate GMP

Focus on attention to detail and maintaining high standards

Support the need for change and actively get involved in continually looking for ways to improve performance

Due to some shift start and finish times, candidates must live local to the site or have their own transport.

Previous experience of working in the food industry would be an advantage
