Job Opportunity: Specialist Machine Operator/ KORO Machine Operative – Sport Pitch Renovation Projects
Salary: £47,000 per annum | OTE: £60,000+ with Overtime
Location: UK-Wide (Flexible Base Location)

We are hiring a Specialist Machine Operator/ KORO Machine Operative – Sport Pitch Renovation Projects to join our expert team, working on a variety of high-profile turf and grounds projects across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional with proven experience in turf renovation, looking to work with the best in the industry, our in-house renovation specialist.

About the Role

As a Specialist Machine Operator/ KORO Machine Operative – Sport Pitch Renovation Projects, your primary responsibility will be operating specialist turf renovation equipment, including the Koro Field TopMaker. This powerful machine is used to strip away thatch, surface debris and unwanted grass, leaving an ideal surface for reseeding. You’ll also be involved in stitching polypropylene fibres into pitches and performing deep renovations using advanced techniques and tools.

You’ll work across a wide range of sites-sports pitches, golf courses, cricket grounds, schools and universities.

What We’re Looking For – Specialist Machine Operator/ KORO Machine Operative – Sport Pitch Renovation Projects:

• Previous experience in sports turf renovation or professional grounds maintenance
• Proven ability to operate Koro machinery or similar specialist renovation equipment
• Confidence working across different site types: school grounds, universities, sports fields, golf, and cricket facilities
• A collaborative team mindset with the ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel across the UK, including overnight stays when required (expenses covered)

Salary & Benefits – Specialist Machine Operator/ KORO Machine Operative – Sport Pitch Renovation Projects:

• Basic Salary: £47,000 per annum
• Overtime Potential: OTE £60,000+
• Time and a quarter after 47 hours (Mon-Fri)
• Double time on weekends and Bank Holidays
• Christmas Bonus for Bank Holidays worked (e.g., £700 if 10 BHs worked)
• Project Manager Benefits:
