Job summary

Quality Start is supporting a global pharmaceutical manufacturer in Oxford to recruit a GMP Production Manufacturing Technician. You will work in a sterile clean room environment, operate manufacturing equipment and computer systems, and contribute to compliant production of drug products.

The role is 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern (7:00-15:00 then 10:00-18:00). This is a 12-month contract with PAYE rate of £16.17 per hour, with potential extension or permanent placement

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths - Grade C or above.
• Ideally pharmaceutical/GMP production experience in a clean room.
• PC literate and numerate.

Responsibilities

• Working in a controlled cleanroom environment using manufacturing equipment and computer systems.
• Collaborating with a team to produce high-quality medical products.
• Meeting tight production deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Carrying out environmental monitoring activities.
• Performing routine quality checks throughout the compounding process.
• Accurately completing and managing production documentation in line with GDP.

GMP Production Manufacturing Technician Opportunity - Oxford

Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has been created due to company growth. My client a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company is looking to recruit a Production Manufacturing Technician based in Oxford where you will be working in a sterile GMP clean room manufacturing environment making drug products / compounding as allocated on the production planning system to cGMP and ISO standards.

The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week on a weekly rotating shift pattern of 7:00 am - 3:00 pm 1 week and then 10:00 am - 6:00 pm for 1 week (Monday to Friday).

Duties and Responsibilities include

• Working in a controlled cleanroom environment using manufacturing equipment and computer systems.
• Collaborating with a team to produce high-quality medical products.
• Meeting tight production deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Carrying out environmental monitoring activities.
• Performing routine quality checks throughout the compounding process.
• Accurately completing and managing production documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Supporting various stages of manufacturing such as labelling, visual inspection, picking, preparation, and sanitization.

As you will be working in a sterile clean room no make or jewellery is allowed.

This is a 12 months contract which will be reviewed for a possible extension or go permanent but this is all dependent on the candidate and business performance. The PAYE rate is £16.17 per hour.
