Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Swindon is recruiting a meticulous General Operative for our regulated cleanroom manufacturing site on a 12-month, full-time contract. You will support production to maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves strict gowning, material handling, line cleaning, stock control, and compliance with GMP. Relevant experience in regulated industries and the ability to read SOPs are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: GCSE Math and English (Grade C or above), or evidence of basic numeracy and literacy to understand complex work instructions.
• Experience: Previous experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Food, Automotive, Make-Up, or Engineering). Manufacturing experience is highly desirable. Pharmaceutical experience is a bonus.
• Knowledge: Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Successfully acquire and maintain a Bronze License Badge for Production area (Grade C/D) access.
• Adhere strictly to correct gowning and cleaning procedures for aseptic and non-aseptic filling line areas.
• Prepare cleaning materials and perform cleaning regimes according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Transfer and handle materials safely into classified production areas.
• Maintain production stock levels and monitor expiration dates.
• Clean and maintain equipment to SOPs, cGMP, and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
• Operate airlocks and, upon training, assist with loading part washers and autoclaves.
• Assist with packaging, labelling, and in-process weight checks.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and complete all documentation adhering strictly to Data Integrity principles.
• Report any instances of non-conformance to area leaders or Quality Assurance representatives.

Contract Type: Full-Time, 12-month contract

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Monday - Friday (Early shift: 07:00 - 15:00 | Late shift: 15:00 - 22:45)

Pay Rate: £13.86 per hour + 22% shift allowance
