Job summary

Quality Start in Oxford is recruiting a GMP Production Manufacturing Technician for a 12-month contract, based in Oxford, in a sterile GMP clean room environment.

You will work 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern (7:00–15:00 one week, 10:00–18:00 the next). PAYE rate is £16.17 per hour. GCSE English and Maths are required; pharmaceutical GMP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths – Grade C or above.
• Pharmaceutical GMP production/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Clean room environment experience recommended.
• PC literate and numerate.

Responsibilities

• Work in a sterile GMP clean room using manufacturing equipment and computer systems.
• Collaborate with a team to produce high-quality medical products.
• Meet production deadlines with accuracy and compliance.
• Carry out environmental monitoring activities.
• Perform routine quality checks during compounding.
• Accurately complete and manage production documentation per GDP.
• Support stages of manufacturing: labeling, inspection, picking, preparation and sanitization.

GMP Production Manufacturing Technician Opportunity – Oxford

Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has been created due to company growth. My client a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company is looking to recruit a Production Manufacturing Technician based in Oxford where you will be working in a sterile GMP clean room manufacturing environment making drug products / compounding as allocated on the production planning system to cGMP and ISO standards.

The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week on a weekly rotating shift pattern of 7:00 am – 3:00 pm 1 week and then 10:00 am – 6:00 pm for 1 week (Monday to Friday).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Working in a controlled cleanroom environment using manufacturing equipment and computer systems.
• Collaborating with a team to produce high-quality medical products.
• Meeting tight production deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Carrying out environmental monitoring activities.
• Performing routine quality checks throughout the compounding process.
• Accurately completing and managing production documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Supporting various stages of manufacturing such as labelling, visual inspection, picking, preparation, and sanitization.

As you will be working in a sterile clean room no make or jewellery is allowed.

Contract and Pay

This is a 12 months contract which will be reviewed for a possible extension or go permanent but this is all dependent on the candidate and business performance.

The PAYE rate is £16.17 per hour.
