Production Manager - Bristol - Aerospace Leadership Team

This role is with a leading supplier of complex machined components for aerospace OEM and Tier 1 customers worldwide. The company specializes in high-complexity components for aero-engine, power generation, and air-frame applications, supported by extensive machining capabilities and a highly experienced engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage production and team leaders to deliver products in line with scorecard requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction.
2. Generate monthly forecasts and deliver the sales plan to meet value and OTIF targets.
3. Promote cooperation and clear communication across all organizational levels while developing production plans to maximize efficiency.
4. Represent company values: pride, respect, enthusiasm, integrity, empowerment, and responsiveness.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong organizational and communication skills; capable of motivating and coaching teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing machinery, technologies, and processes in a machining environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Problem-solving skills using LEAN tools, 6S, and cellular techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Operational management experience in an engineering business.
• Commercial awareness supporting business growth and financial targets.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 and Quality Management Systems.
