Job description

Victrex are recruiting for a Key Customer Program Manager for our TxV Aerospace Composites facility in Bristol, Rhode Island (onsite). In this role, the successful candidate will develop and lead the planning, scheduling and execution of complex customer programs critical for the growth of our aerospace composite parts making operations. This will be done together with commercial, quality, engineering, and operations leaders as part of the site leadership team. This role will also serve as the primary communication conduit between the project teams at TxV and our key customers.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Defining and implementing the customer project management system ensuring scope, delivery, cost, quality, timescale, and successful completion.
  • Develop expertise in all aspects of customer programs from estimation, quoting, scheduling, and execution utilizing Visual (ERP system) in addition to other project management tools.
  • Managing the effectiveness of the project team by identifying and managing risks, issues and required changes to the plan, ensuring effective decision making throughout.
  • Managing effective and timely communication with the site leadership team providing status reports and capturing issues and solutions.
  • Managing effective and timely communications to external stakeholders – typically circa up to 5 key customers and suppliers.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent organization skills.
  • Significant demonstrable experience of successfully managing complicated projects in a complex environment.
  • Highly proficient in knowledge of the project management process and excellent levels of co-ordination and organization.
  • Demonstrable communication skills including written, verbal and influencing at all levels of the organization and with external parties.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to think conceptually and analytically and articulate to relevant stakeholders with varying levels of understanding.
