Monday to Friday | 07:00am - 17:00pm (earlier finish Friday's)

Our clients manufactures specialist tools for the construction industry, and are looking for a Production Manager to implement process improvements, and assist in growing the team's to maximise output and efficiency.

Roles/Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a small production team, ensuring daily operations run efficiently and safely
  • Maintain strong performance across output, quality, cost, and delivery targets
  • Apply Lean principles to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Uphold high standards of health and safety across all production activities
  • Mentor and develop staff, including overseeing training, shift planning, and performance reviews
  • Ensure accurate stock levels and manage the flow of incoming and outgoing goods
  • Provide hands‑on support when required, assisting operatives during busy periods or staff shortages
  • Collaborate with colleagues at their international site when needed, supporting communication and coordination across locations
  • Report directly to the Managing Director, contributing to wider business goals and operational strategy
About You
  • Proven background in production management within a manufacturing environment
  • Able to step into the role confidently and make an immediate impact
  • Strong experience applying Lean methodologies and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Naturally looks for ways to streamline processes, reduce waste, and boost efficiency
  • A hands‑on, team‑focused mindset
  • Understanding of CNC or machining processes is beneficial, but not essential
