Job summary

CMD Recruitment is seeking a Stores and Logistics Operative in Melksham to support production by managing materials, stock, and goods in/out. You will coordinate between stores, planning and production to keep output on schedule.

The role involves picking orders, line feeding cells, despatch packing, FIFO stock control, and general stores duties in a busy manufacturing environment. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Previous stores, warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work on your own and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills (SAP desirable).
• Counterbalance licence preferred (training available).
• Positive, reliable and organised.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for production.
• Line feed production cells.
• Book goods in and goods out.
• Pack products for despatch.
• Manage stock using FIFO.
• Carry out stock checks and inventory.
• Meet quality standards and KPI targets.
• Complete general stores and logistics duties.
• Work with production to keep materials flowing.
