Job summary

CMD Recruitment is seeking a Stores and Logistics Operative in Melksham to support production by managing materials, stock, and goods in/out. You will coordinate between stores, planning and production to keep output on schedule.

The role involves picking orders, line feeding cells, despatch packing, FIFO stock control, and general stores duties in a busy manufacturing environment. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Previous stores, warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work on your own and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills (SAP desirable).
• Counterbalance licence preferred (training available).
• Positive, reliable and organised.

Stores and Logistics Operative
Location: Melksham
Pay Rate: 14.77 p/h
Hours: (Apply online only) Monday to Thursday and (Apply online only) on Fridays

We are currently recruiting for a Stores and Logistics Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment, taking responsibility for supporting and coordinating a dedicated production area.

This is a key role focused on ensuring materials, workflow, and communication are aligned to keep production running efficiently and on schedule.

The Role

Within this role you will act as the link between production, stores, and planning, ensuring your assigned production area is fully supported with materials, information, and coordination to meet output targets.
