Job summary

Daventry-based manufacturing company is seeking a permanent Manufacturing Logistics Operator. The role focuses on receipt and movement of materials, stock control, dispensing, packing and labelling, plus arranging transport quotes.

Candidates should have warehouse/logistics experience, strong communication, literacy and numeracy, and the ability to work well in a team. FLT licence is desirable; 41.5 hours per week across Mon-Thu mornings and Fri mornings.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and/or logistics experience.
• Demonstrated communication, literacy and numeracy skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receipt of incoming materials
• Maintenance of stocks using a 'first in first out' system
• Movement of materials
• Dispensing, packing, checking and labelling of materials
• Arranging carriers and obtaining quotes for transport
• Maintaining good housekeeping particularly within the stores and despatch areas
