Job summary

BIMM University, through Performers College, currently seeks a Production Lead for a four-month fixed-term contract to oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of productions across the college. You will work with the Production Manager, academic colleagues and industry professionals to ensure high-quality student experiences and production outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in production management or stage management in performing arts.
• Experience coordinating productions from planning through delivery.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
• Experience producing schedules and technical documentation.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of theatre health and safety requirements.
• Independent worker with sound judgment.
• Collaborative and inclusive approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and delivery of productions, performances and events.
• Develop and maintain production schedules and documentation.
• Serve as a key contact with students, academic teams, staff, freelancers, suppliers and venues.
• Coordinate rehearsals, technical runs, performances and get-outs.
• Support production requirements including scenery, props, costumes, equipment and logistics.
• Provide guidance to students to develop professional working practices.
• Contribute to production budgets and procurement records.
• Ensure activities meet health and safety policies.
• Maintain production records and inventories.
