Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Production Leader - Performing Arts on a 4 Month Fixed Term Contract at a College. The role focuses on planning, coordinating and delivering productions, performances and events, working closely with the Production Manager, academics, students and industry professionals.

You will develop schedules, manage budgets and guide students to professional practices while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in production management, production coordination, stage management or similar.
• Experience coordinating productions, performances or live events from planning through to delivery.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience producing and maintaining schedules, technical documentation, risk assessments or related records.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements within theatre, live performance or event environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of productions, performances and events, ensuring activities are delivered safely and effectively.
• Develop and maintain production schedules and operational plans to support successful delivery.
• Act as a key contact with students, academic teams, technical staff, freelancers, suppliers and venue partners.
• Coordinate rehearsals, technical runs, performances and get-outs, adapting plans as required.
• Support production requirements including scenery, props, costume, equipment, procurement and logistics.
• Provide guidance to students to develop professional working practices in a positive, inclusive environment.
• Assist with managing production budgets, procurement activity and related records.
• Ensure activities align with health and safety requirements and university policies.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventories and operating documentation.
