Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is seeking a Production Leader for Performing Arts in Birmingham on a 4-month fixed-term contract. You will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of college productions, working with students, staff and industry professionals to ensure high quality outcomes.

You will develop schedules, manage rehearsals and get-outs, coordinate resources and support budgets while upholding safety standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in production management, production coordination or stage management within performing arts or live events.
• Strong ability to plan and deliver productions from planning through to delivery.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience maintaining production schedules and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of productions, performances and events in the college setting.
• Develop and maintain production schedules and related documentation.
• Act as a point of contact with students, academic teams, staff, freelancers, suppliers and venue partners.
• Coordinate rehearsals, technical runs, performances and get-outs and resolve day-to-day challenges.
• Support production requirements including scenery, props, costumes, equipment, procurement and logistics.
• Provide guidance to students to develop professional working practices.
• Assist management of production budgets and procurement records.
• Ensure activities comply with health and safety requirements and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate production records and inventories.
