Job summary
Bosch Thermotechnology Ltd. invites you to join our 2027 Undergraduate Placement Year as a Production Engineer at the Clay Cross site.
This one-year, full-time placement offers hands-on experience in digitalisation, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement projects within a busy manufacturing environment. You will work with a tight-knit team, lead improvement initiatives, support product launches, and balance office tasks with practical hands-on shop-floor activity, developing
Qualifications
- Be studying a Bachelors or Masters in a STEM field.
- Good attitude to learning.
Responsibilities
- Improving the digitalisation of the Clay Cross Manufacturing plant.
- Assist in I4.0 projects in different processes around the manufacturing site.
- Participating in and leading Continuous Improvement Projects.
- Supporting the launch of new products into the plant and changes to existing products.
- Ensuring that we meet internal and external legislation for the manufacturing process.
- Upkeep and creation of SOPs.
- A good balance of office work and being hands on in a shop floor environment.
- Problem solving on live issues on manufacturing lines to keep production going.
