Job summary

Crown Cork & Seal Company is seeking a Production Engineer for Metal Finishing - LSM and Dryers to join the Central Production Engineering Department. The role can be based in Wantage (UK) or at one of our European plants.

It supports 12 European locations and 5 in the Middle East and North Africa, and involves site projects and new plant initiatives. You will oversee Lacquer Spray Machines, Rim Coaters, Overvarnish units, and associated ovens, provide operational support, lead audits, and drive

Qualifications

• Higher National Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with metal finishing equipment and processes.
• Strong problem-solving and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Lacquer Spray Machines (LSMs) and related equipment.
• Lead line audits and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Develop SOPs, best practices and cost reduction programs; provide training.
