Qualifications

• Engineering background at HND or Degree level in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
• Clear and concise communication across all levels.
• Self-starter with leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Computer literacy and readiness to operate engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant operational support for quality issues, maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting; implement best practices and follow-up on improvements.
• Conduct line operations and technical audits; propose improvement opportunities through projects.
• Develop SOPs, best practices and cost-reduction programs; deliver training on metal finishing equipment and processes.
• Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and Sustainability initiatives; support material trials and process challenges.
• Collaborate with Crown Technology on equipment, tooling, materials and process standardisation; disseminate new technologies and standards to plant teams.
