Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. in the UK seeks a Production Engineer in Metal Finishing (LSMs, BRCs/MRCs, O/V) to support 12 European locations and multiple overseas sites. You will lead process improvements, audits and Lean initiatives, while training teams on finishing equipment and processes.

The role involves cross-location collaboration, safety focus, and willingness to travel overseas for extended periods. Based in Wantage, UK, or other European plants.

Qualifications

• Higher National Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with metal finishing processes and machinery.
• Clear communication at all levels; strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter, team player with leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel overseas on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant operational support for quality issues and maintenance.
• Lead line operation and technical audits; propose improvements.
• Promote SOPs, best practices and cost-reduction programs.
• Deliver classroom and hands-on training in Metal Finishing equipment and processes.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Sustainability initiatives.
