Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Production Engineer - Metal Forming to join the Bevcan EMEA Production Engineering team. The role is based at Wantage (UK) or at one of Crownb s European plants and supports multiple locations, driving improvements in quality, cost and efficiency.

You will lead process improvements, develop SOPs, and deliver hands-on training in metal forming equipment while collaborating with cross-functional teams and overseas sites.

Qualifications

• Engineering background or higher qualification.
• Proven ability in metal forming disciplines (cupping, necking, bodymaking).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel overseas at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant operational support for quality issues and maintenance.
• Lead improvement projects and cost reduction programmes.
• Develop and train teams on metal forming equipment and processes.
• Promote SOPs and best practices across manufacturing sites.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and sustainability initiatives.
