Role Overview

The role involves providing manufacturing engineering support at the Energizer Rassau Auto Care facility. The successful candidate will work closely with the Engineering and Maintenance leader, Production Supervisors, and the maintenance team to lead and manage improvement actions, adapting to evolving engineering and production needs.

Responsibilities

1. Support and develop the team by implementing methods to ensure the Rassau facility is considered best in class.
2. Lead and support JPM Improvements, Forward Planning and Launch activities, SQDCME Compliance, EPS Initiatives, and provide hands-on engineering support.
3. Support shutdown work and project planning/delivery.
4. Develop strategies using tools like Dynamic Control Planning, Feasibility studies, Change Control, and others to meet operational goals.
5. Coordinate training plans for the engineering team.
6. Maximize workload to achieve daily and long-term objectives, including budget targets.
7. Ensure safety, quality, and delivery standards through ongoing coaching and standard practices.
8. Investigate and resolve quality or production constraints using problem-solving tools like 6 Panel and 5 Why processes.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should hold or be studying for a Degree in Engineering or related field, with at least 5 years of manufacturing experience. Key skills include leadership, motivation, quality tools knowledge (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA), data analysis, and computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project). Experience with CAD is preferred.
