The role will be to provide manufacturing engineering support to the Energizer Rassau Auto Care facility. This position will work closely with the Engineering and Maintenance leader, Production Supervisors and maintenance team to lead and manage improvement actions in support of ever changing engineering and production requirements.
The successful individual will be involved in supporting and developing the team by introducing and implementing methods that will effectively ensure the Rassau facility is considered best in class.Reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Leader, key responsibilities will be to lead and support:
Additional responsibilities are :-
• Lead and coordinate engineering workstreams in support of the production strategies and provide technical support to the Production teams on a day to day basis.
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure the team conduct daily business by using tools such as Dynamic Control Planning, Feasibility studies, Change Control, Project fund tracking, CCAR’s, Energizer Production System and other related systems. Drive the mind-set of change required to achieve the above.
• Work with your Manager and Plant Training to ensure an effective plan to meet the training needs analysis for the engineering team is effectively achieved.
• Coordinate the team and individual activities to maximise workload to achieve the daily goals with a view to achieving longer term scorecard objectives, including engineering budget objectives.
• Continually assess and coach the teams to ensure standard practice is in place to ensure optimum safety, quality and delivery elements are met during day to day and project activities.
• Proactive involvement in the investigation of Quality or production constraint concerns via the use of methodical problem solving tools and techniques to ensure fault resolution and recurrence prevention. Ensure follow up actions are captured and conducted through 6 Panel and 5 why processes.
• Lead\coordinate shutdown work/project planning & delivery.

Applicants should ideally hold or be studying for a Degree in Engineering or related subject. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing or related activity and will ideally possess the following skills:
