Job description

The Job's Mission

The Stryker Product Support Specialist responsibilities include directly supporting all Stryker products associated with Joint Replacement procedures, including robotic surgery with Mako. This role within Stryker UK will focus on servicing and supporting our clinical customers to ensure best-in-class specialist support with procedural excellence.

Additional responsibilities involve collaborating with the local sales team to coordinate training and events, and managing daily business support requirements to deliver exceptional service to our broad customer base.

Key Activities & Accountabilities
  1. Servicing existing and new customers within theatre and clinical environments.
  2. Supporting MAKO robotic procedures and manual joint replacement surgeries.
  3. Providing theatre and HCP staff with training on Stryker products.
  4. Working with regional team members and the Regional Sales Manager to ensure top-tier customer service.
  5. Auditing theatre Stryker stock, managing inventory, and asset management.
  6. Understanding clinical applications of Stryker products to offer optimal solutions.
  7. Conducting product trials and evaluations as needed.
  8. Implementing training, organizing workshops, and supporting new business initiatives.
  9. Communicating product features and clinical benefits effectively.
  10. Maintaining high ethical standards and representing Stryker positively.
  11. Acting with integrity and fulfilling commitments timely.
  12. Liaising with sales colleagues to identify customer needs and promote additional products.
  13. Maintaining a business plan with clear objectives.
  14. Understanding the local healthcare environment and regional strategy.
  15. Performing additional duties as directed by the RSM.
Education
  • Experience in theatre or medical environments preferred; industry background advantageous.
Experience
  • At least 2 years of theatre or medical experience.
  • Understanding of cost pressures in theatres and surgical procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology for product demonstrations.
