Job summary

Allstate NI is hiring a Product Security Engineer to design, build and operate enterprise security controls embedded into our SDLC. You will own security capabilities end-to-end—from architecture through deployment and production support—while delivering reliable software with automated testing and CI/CD.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers and platform teams in an agile environment, focusing on scalable, secure outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience as a software engineer owning the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript).
• Experience designing, building, and operating scalable distributed systems in the cloud.
• Experience with APIs/REST services and modern dev workflows.
• Experience in agile delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate enterprise security controls as software products integrated into SDLC.
• Own security control capabilities end-to-end from architecture to deployment and production support.
• Write, test, and maintain production code with reliability targets.
• Apply practices like TDD, paired programming, CI/CD.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to align security controls with enterprise needs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and pursuit of fast feedback and incremental delivery.
