Job summary

Allstate NI in Belfast is seeking a Cloud Product Security Engineer to design, build, and operate security controls across cloud workloads. You’ll own CSPM/DLP capabilities and work within CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure, scalable cloud solutions.

We expect 3+ years in cloud security engineering, with hands-on AWS/Azure experience and IaC practices. Collaboration with platform engineers and product teams is essential, and hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in the UK; Allstate will not sponsor.
• 3+ years of professional software or security engineering in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with CSPM/DLP and cloud security controls in AWS/Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native security controls as software products across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and application services.
• Engineer and maintain CSPM and DLP capabilities to continuously detect, assess, and reduce risk in cloud environments.
• Develop preventive, detective, and responsive security controls integrated into cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate cloud security controls with SIEM and security tooling for high-quality detection signals.
• Support incident handling by engineering detection logic, automation, and response workflows.
• Apply IaC, automated testing, CI/CD, and feedback loops to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with platform engineers, application teams, and security partners to align controls with architectures.
