Job summary

Allstate NI, Allstate’s European Digital Centre of Excellence in Belfast, seeks a Cloud Product Security Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud security controls across cloud environments. You will own CSPM, DLP, and security integrations throughout the software development lifecycle.

You will collaborate with platform engineers, application teams, and security partners to deliver secure cloud outcomes, supported by a Continuous Learning Hub and flexible, hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in the UK for Allstate employment.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional software or security engineering experience with production systems in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience engineering security controls in public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience building or integrating CSPM, data protection, or DLP capabilities.
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures and services and how security controls integrate.
• Ability to engineer preventative, detective, and responsive security capabilities and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native security controls as software products across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and applications.
• Engineer CSPM and DLP capabilities to detect, assess, and reduce risk in cloud environments.
• Build security controls integrated into cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and shared services.
• Integrate cloud security controls with SIEM and tooling for high-quality detection and incident response signals.
• Support incident handling by engineering detection logic, automation, and response mechanisms.
• Apply infrastructure as code, automated testing, and CI/CD to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
