Checkatrade, the UK’s leading platform for finding tradespeople, is seeking a Product Manager for Ops Tooling. You will shape vision and strategy for tools and workflows powering Sales and Operations, leveraging AI and automation to reduce manual work.

You'll partner with the Product Delivery Manager and Engineering Manager to balance today’s needs with tomorrow’s capabilities, turning ambiguous problems into prioritized opportunities with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Strong product management experience and a track record of setting direction and leading end-to-end initiatives.
• Practical understanding of AI and automation; delivering use cases that change workflows or reduce manual work.
• Sharp discovery skills; turning ambiguous problems into clear opportunities and priorities.
• Experience simplifying complex workflows across people, process and technology.
• Commercial and analytical thinking linking product decisions to business and customer outcomes.
• Confidence with senior stakeholders; ability to challenge established thinking constructively.
• Strong partnership with Engineering; depth to understand what's possible with AI, integrations and modern product tech.

Responsabilités

• Set the vision and product strategy for Ops Tooling, aligned with Sales, Operations and customer strategy.
• Work closely with teams; use data and insights to identify opportunities to improve how they work.
• Reimagine workflows end-to-end; balance people, process and technology over simply polishing existing tools.
• Make AI and automation core to operations, identifying where to automate, augment or redesign as capabilities arrive.
• Lead significant product bets from discovery through delivery, launch and measuring impact.
• Prioritise on business impact: conversion, productivity, quality, customer experience and cost to serve.
• Align senior stakeholders on problems being solved, investments, and trade-offs.
