Job summary

Toolstation is seeking a hands-on Product Manager and Engineer to own our cloud platform and lead AI/agent capabilities across the business. You will manage the platform as a product, shaping roadmaps, adoption metrics, and service levels while partnering with internal teams and external vendors.

The role is hybrid, located near Northampton or Bridgwater, with responsibilities spanning platform operations, modernisation, and cost stewardship.

Qualifications

• Kubernetes & cloud expertise in production environments.
• IaC and GitOps fluency essential.
• Platform product mindset with roadmaps and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own core platform on GCP/GKE with API gateway and security.
• Lead Gemini AI/agent platform governance and patterns.
• Write and review IaC; test with AI-driven tooling.
• Drive FinOps and cost attribution for the platform.
• Provide architectural direction and modernisation across teams.
