Job summary

Checkatrade is seeking a VP Product to shape the product strategy and execution of one of the UK’s most recognized home services brands. This role involves owning the multi-year product vision and leading a team of Product Managers to drive growth through innovative product solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in product leadership, experience in marketplace dynamics, and demonstrable skills in integration of AI technology. A competitive salary, annual bonus, and a range of perks are offered.

Qualifications

Owned product direction end-to-end and built high-performing PM teams.
Experience in a two-sided marketplace or platform business.
Demonstrable experience building and shipping AI-powered product features.
Strong commercial acumen with ability to connect product decisions to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Setting and owning the multi-year product vision and roadmap.
Leading, coaching, and growing all Product Managers across the business.
Driving prioritisation and planning while balancing commercial impact with platform investment.
Integrating AI and machine learning into the product.
Collaborating with Marketing, Engineering, Design, Data, and Commercial teams.
Representing the product function in board and investor conversations.
