Job summary

Dex is seeking a second Product Engineer for its AI agent platform. You will own the Talent Agent Engine and the control plane, delivering production-grade AI for high-stakes hiring.

You will ship agents end-to-end, improve live systems, and shape the voice pipeline for Interview Agent while collaborating with Scoring and Candidate Agents. You value reliability, measurable outcomes, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Shipped AI agents in production with scalable failure handling.
• Experience with agentic stack and orchestration.
• Designed memory models, retries, observability, and evaluation pipelines.
• Full-stack exposure: UI, edge functions, and storage.
• Proactive shipping mindset with prototyping and benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Own the Talent Agent Engine: the orchestration layer for intent classification, context loading, routing, tool use, and validation.
• Ship new agents from roadmap to production, and continuously improve existing ones.
• Build the Studio control plane for agent configuration, experimentation, and feedback loops.
• Shape the voice pipeline for an Interview Agent currently in active build, alongside live Scoring and Candidate Agents.
• Engineer for high-stakes workflows where 'looks right' isn't enough; focus on reliability and measurable outcomes.
