Role Description

• Make, document, and send product samples to customers following internal PD procedures and customer codes of practice.
• Support the PD manager in preparing and presenting samples to internal and external customers.
• Ensure the smooth operation of PD areas, maintaining high GMP and hygienic standards.

Dimensions

• Support PD for specific business areas (Category, Group of categories, Site).
• Launch approximately 100 PD products annually for Princes' portfolio.
• External contacts include customers and suppliers.
• Internal contacts include Sales, Brand Marketing, Technical, Procurement, Project Management, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare kitchen samples according to PD procedures.
• Assess kitchen products in accordance with customer codes of practice.
• Organize and send samples for internal and external approval promptly.
• Maintain documentation and IT records of PD activities.
• Participate in meetings related to PD projects, feasibility, and challenges.
• Coordinate with Procurement to supply raw materials and ingredients.
• Assist in presentations and other PD activities as needed.
• Support production trials, especially for new product designs and concepts.

Role Requirements

• Degree in Food Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 1 year of product development experience in a food/drink manufacturing environment.
• Passion for food and drink trends and consumer needs.
• Proven people management skills.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
