Job summary

Kainos is seeking a Product Consultant to own backlog maturity, drive MVP thinking, and deliver features from inception to delivery. You will lead agile ceremonies and workshops, engage a broad range of stakeholders, and coach junior staff to strengthen the delivery capability.

In this client-facing role, you will liaise across the project team and external customers while ensuring value delivery within the MVP scope and managing dependencies and constraints.

Qualifications

• Experience in bespoke software delivery within an agile, client-facing environment.
• Defence sector experience and active DV clearance are highly desirable.
• Proven ability to model business processes and translate into user stories.
• Strong facilitation and workshop-running capabilities with stakeholder groups.
• Experience coaching junior team members and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's backlog and drive MVP delivery from inception to release.
• Lead agile ceremonies and foster engagement across the project team.
• Plan and run workshops with stakeholders to reach consensus.
• Coach and develop staff; manage performance within the delivery team.
• Translate functional and technical needs into well-formed user stories.
