Job summary

Danish Crown UK is seeking a Procurement Specialist to drive sourcing activities across our UK sites in Bugle, Manchester, Halifax or Rochdale. The role focuses on delivering cost, quality and risk improvements through effective supplier negotiations and market engagement.

You will lead local sourcing, own commercial negotiations, analyse spend data and build strong supplier relationships while collaborating with internal stakeholders to shape sourcing strategies and guidance.

What you will be doing

As a Procurement Specialist within our QEHS & Sustainability business unit, you will play a critical role in driving commercial value through effective sourcing, market engagement and supplier negotiations without managing direct reports. Working Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:30 and Friday from 08:00 to 15:00, your focus will be on delivering cost, quality and risk improvements across defined spend areas.

• Lead local sourcing activities, conduct market analysis and onboard qualified suppliers to maintain a competitive supplier base.
• Own commercial negotiations on pricing, payment terms and contractual conditions to deliver measurable cost reductions.

• Hard skills: Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, strong analytical capabilities with data-driven decision-making and a thorough understanding of cost structures and commercial risk.
