Job summary

Danish Crown UK is seeking a Procurement Specialist to drive sourcing activities across our UK sites in Bugle, Manchester, Halifax or Rochdale. The role focuses on delivering cost, quality and risk improvements through effective supplier negotiations and market engagement.

You will lead local sourcing, own commercial negotiations, analyse spend data and build strong supplier relationships while collaborating with internal stakeholders to shape sourcing strategies and guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, sourcing or commercial execution roles.
• Proven success in supplier negotiations and managing supplier markets.
• Results-oriented, proactive approach with strong stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead local sourcing activities, conduct market analysis and onboard qualified suppliers to maintain a competitive supplier base.
• Own commercial negotiations on pricing, payment terms and contractual conditions to deliver measurable cost reductions.
• Analyse spend data independently to identify opportunities for consolidation, standardisation and cost optimisation.
• Build strong working relationships with key suppliers, monitor performance targets and mitigate sourcing risks.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into effective sourcing strategies and commercial guidance.
